An event that can make going gluten free a whole lot easier is on the way for the Burnaby area.
Billed as being the country's largest expo focused on living a gluten-free lifestyle, many companies, dieticians and other professionals are scheduled to participate in this winter’s Gluten Free Expo.
A huge assortment of companies that offer gluten free products have already signed on to be part of the event, and many will be offering samples, coupons and other moneysaving opportunities. Everything from comfort foods like pizza to traditional dishes including pierogis and even beer will be represented, and the crowd will be welcome to try before they buy.
A presenters’ panel that includes chefs, nutritionists, registered dieticians and doctors will be hosting a variety of workshops, and these will take place both on and off the main stage.
