Some big fun is on the way for Burnaby families, and it will wrap up summer with a special event.
People from across the city will be heading to the Willingdon Community Centre for its Community Fair & Movie Night. It is set for early September, and will be held during the evening hours.
These family friendly festivities will include fun just for the kids, and they can burn off lots of energy. Everyone can take in the colorful displays and other exhibits, and live music will help keep the spirit festive. Area mobile food service operators have been invited to set up shop so everyone can choose a bite to eat, and a free movie screening under the stars will round out the event. Portable seating is recommended, and additional information will be released closer to its scheduled date.
