Burnaby workshop plants spring decor

Violas, also known as mini pansies and “johnny-jump-ups” will be the stars of the show for a hands-on crafting project.

GARDENWORKS’ Burnaby-Lougheed location has set the date for a hands-on crafting class that will construct living room decor from the materials provided. The instructions for making the wreaths will also be included.

The class will open spring by making door wreaths that include live viola plants, and moss and other materials will also be used. The facilitator will teach how to construct the projects and ,as they offer tips for their care they look great for as long as possible. Everyone can choose their colours from the plants provided, and no previous experience is needed. The registrants will be encouraged to get creative, and the fee starts at $49.99, and taxes will be applied upon purchase.

A workshop that includes plants may give those who are new to home horticulture a time to learn some new skills and gather tips from subject matter experts. Stationery printers will be happy to lend a hand by supplying Copies of any handouts required.

The team at GARDENWORKS Burnaby-Loughheed will offer this jump into spring on March 15th. Everyone who registers is asked to be on site by no later than 10:00 sharp, and a registration link for the activity can be found on its ticketing website.
