Members from the 180 Garden Clubs and community gardens from across the province are invited to an event in Burnaby that will give them an opportunity to meet with others who share their interest.
The annual meeting of the B.C. Council of Garden Clubs will bring together green thumbs from all over B.C. .There will be presentations by guest speakers Egan Davis and Ryan Foster, as well as lunch, refreshments, a door prize drawing, vendor tables and other displays. Participants will be able to learn new skills and tips, as well as share their knowledge with others. Digital Copying Services can be put to use in producing printouts of the schedule for the day, informational handouts and other items to distribute to those who come to the event.
The number of spaces in the conference is limited, so those who are interested in taking part are advised to register as far ahead as possible. Discounted early bird tickets are being offered, with those who register early receiving a $5 discount from their ticket price. To receive this special rate, the pass must be bought before October 1.
The 2016 Fall meeting of the B.C. council of Garden Clubs will take place on October 15 at the Firefighters Banquet and Conference Centre from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm.
