St. Albert is set to host a live music event for fans of the 50s and 60s.
Simply the Best Talent group is presenting the Relive the Music: Fifties and Sixties Rock N Roll Show, where the audience members will get to experience live music, singing and dance from the 50s and 60s. The costumes of the performers will reflect the era that it is celebrating. Print shops can help promote popular live events such like this one and can help spread the word to several generations.
Some of the featured singers include Luisa Marshall, who has been featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show and on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Zenia Marshall, who is not only a singer but a choreographer too, will also be featured in the event. She has enjoyed roles in live stage performances such as Beauty and the Beast and Buffy the Vampire Slayer in Vancouver. John Pippus will also be performing.
There will also be a live band with Steve Marshall, the producer and creator of Relive the Music, as drummer. Jojo Palermo will be on keyboards, and Kim Kaos, who will be on guitar, has played on the Mainstage at the Pacific National Exhibition in Vancouver.
Relive the Music: Fifties and Sixties Rock N Roll Show will take place on Tuesday, October 18th at the Arden Theatre in St. Alberta. Tickets start at $59. Audience members are encouraged to dress up in their best 50s and 60s outfits.
