Holiday market returns to St. Albert

The St. Albert Farmer’s Market has opened its annual Christmas Market, aiming to provide holiday gifts from local artisans.

The market features over 225 vendors each week, with products including holiday food, decorations and potential gift items. Confirmed vendors include Bohemian Turtle Concrete Garden Sculptures, J2 Studios Photography, and Smashed Seaglass Designs, alongside other local artists, artisans and crafters. Vendors may change from week to week. Businesses at markets like this often use Business Cards or other handouts to make year-long connections with visitors.

Whereas the summer Farmer’s Market is one of the largest purely outdoor markets in Canada, the Christmas Market moves indoors for a festive atmosphere. The market area also features family-friendly activities for children and parents to celebrate the season. Visitors are also encouraged to bring toys and non-perishable food items to donate to local charities, including the St. Albert Food Bank.

The Christmas Market also runs a special free shuttle service from the NAKI Bus Terminal to Riel Drive, allowing for park-and-drive service. Buses will run every 15 to 30 minutes, dependent on the weather. The market was well-attended for its opening week and is hoping to continue the momentum into December.

The 2025 St. Albert Christmas Market officially opened on November 15. IT will be held every Saturday until December 13 at the Enjoy Centre.
