Calgary to celebrate 30th annual Childrens Festival

Both the young and the young at heart are invited to come to a festival that celebrates the spirit of youth.

The 30th International Children’s Festival will bring together well known entertainers from the world of children’s television and theatre as well as music. There will also be a wide assortment of activities to enjoy throughout the three days of the event, including everything from face painting to an inflatable maze to bubbles, building blocks, a maypole, food, a retro playground, a wishing wall, an Ugly Animal Roadshow and much more. Wide format printing can be used to create signage, Banners and other decorations that can be used during special celebrations such as this. They can be made from a variety of materials so that they can withstand the weather if they are to be used out of doors.

The outdoor activities are all free, while the price for general admission tickets for the indoor shows has been set at $17.00 each.

The festival takes place starting on May 25th and it runs until May 28th. It will be held at Calgary’s Arts Commons and also outdoors at the Olympic Plaza, and will happen, rain or shine. Those who will be going are strongly encouraged to dress for the weather. There is plenty of parking in the different lots around the site.
