Running festival set to race into Bibra Lake

Running enthusiasts in Bibra Lake are invited to attend the Runningworks Festival, taking place in the area in July.

Holding a reputation as an ideal running spot, Bibra Lake has been chosen as the race location due to its tarmac pathways, which offer optimal race conditions and the perfect opportunity for family and friends to cheer on competitors.

The racecourse will cover 6 kilometres, and has been internationally certified by IAAF and AIMS.

Participants can choose to run varying distances, with a marathon, half marathon, 12K and 6K on offer.

Runners who place first, second or third in all events will receive a prize and a medal, and competitors in the marathon and half marathon will be awarded a finisher’s medal.

Organisers of athletic events can use banner printing to spread the word about their event and attract interest within the local community.

The Bibra Lake Runningworks Festival will be held on Sunday, July 6 at the Bibra Lake Reserve, Progress Drive, Bibra Lake. The marathon will begin at 8:00AM, the half-marathon at 8:05AM, and the 12K and 6K at 9:00AM, and there is a 2:30PM cut-off time for all events.

Registrations for the event are open until July 2, and fees are $119 for the marathon, $69 for the half-marathon, $49 for the 12K and $39 for the 6K. To book your place in the Bibra Lake Runningworks Festival, visit the Race Roster event website.
