A lecture regarding how meditation can help people struggling with difficult challenges will soon take place at the home of Buddhism in Bibra Lake.
The Diamond Way Buddhist Centre has announced it will host a special lecture series in summer. The December talk will focus on using Buddhist methods like meditation and its teachings to remove obstacles and address disturbing emotions.
Organisations promoting wellbeing and enlightenment with lectures and study sessions sometimes enlist expert assistance from professional brochure printing services, in order to create informative literature for candidates interested in participating.
The lecture will explore how basic emotions of aversion and attachment are a source of suffering and disturbance in people’s lives. Through meditation methods, it will show how it is possible to transform such obstacles and negative emotions into positive experiences, where spontaneous and unlimited wisdom, compassion, fearlessness and joy are possible.
Attendees will learn techniques to address mental disturbances that are blocking their mind to becoming enlightened. On a practical level, they will also get a chance to see how Buddhist meditation and teachings can be integrated into daily life, providing powerful tools to manage difficult emotions.
The lecture will be held at the Diamond Way Buddhist Centre Perth on Sunday, December 1. The centre is sited at 34 Prout Way in Bibra Lake, and the lecture will start at 4 pm and end at 5 pm.
