Bibra Lake to host running event

Those living in and around Bibra Lake who enjoy running might like to register for a running event featuring different distances at the beginning of July.

RunningWorks is a sociable club that is accessible to all runners, whether novice or advanced. It currently has in excess of 300 registered members, with the opportunity to sign up for personalised programs.

The Bibra Lake Reserve is an ideal location for distance running as it is flat and has tarmac paths. It is also an ideal area for spectators to watch and cheer on competitors. The Bibra Lake RunningWorks Festival consists of races of different distances - namely six and 12 kilometres, plus a half marathon and a full marathon. There will be staggered start times for each race.

All the courses have been verified by the International Association of Athletics Federations and the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races.

For those lucky enough to place, there are medals and prizes up for grabs, plus finisher medals for those completing the half and full marathons.

Banner printing to promote sporting events is often undertaken at local Print shops.

The Bibra Lake RunningWorks Festival is taking place on Sunday, 6 July at the Bibra Lake Reserve. Registration costs from $39, depending on the race entered. This event is part of the RunningWorks Event Series.
