A respected events venue in Perth has announced it will soon welcome a famous Swedish pop music act to its stage.
Balcatta residents with a passion for pop music will get a chance to see Sweden’s Roxette in concert this year. The Kings Park and Botanic Garden will present the band in March for one night only. Back in 2016 fans believed they had witnessed Roxette's final concert. Now the band’s founder, frontman and songsmith, Per Gessle picks has reignited the torch and is bringing his global hits to Australia. Those coming down to the show at Kings Park will get a chance to hear a lengthy list of Roxette fan favourites and genre-defining hits which may include tracks like “The Look”, “It Must Have Been Love”, “Crash! Boom! Bang!” and “Listen to Your Heart” among others.
Gessle and his Roxette band will also be joined by acclaimed Swedish songstress Lena Philipson on stage. In 2004 She represented her country in the Eurovision Song Contest and finished fifth.
Roxette will now perform live in concert at Kings Park and Botanic Garden on Wednesday, March 5. The venue is situated on Fraser Avenue in Perth and the concert will commence at 5 pm and ends at 10 pm.
