The charitable people of Balcatta and the local area can buy a ticket for a fundraising dinner to support the displaced people of Sudan.
With a humanitarian crisis occurring in Sudan, Human Appeal Australia (HAA) is hosting a special dinner in Balcatta, named Hope for the Forgotten. This will bring together leaders and compassionate residents who wish to help in the form of rebuilding communities, providing lifesaving aid, and giving hope to those affected. The evening is one of many that will be taking place in the area.
HAA is present in many countries across four continents. The aim is to provide relief and support against all kinds of crises, be they manmade or as a result of natural disasters, such as flooding, earthquakes, and famine. With many international partners, HAA has a group of networks with which to unite and this can help to bring investment into more long-term social and educational community projects that can also build resilience.
Fundraising charities might turn to local printing services to try and provide cost-effective advertising in order to draw attention to important causes.
The Perth Unites for Sudan Fundraising Dinner is taking place on Monday, March 2, from 6.30 pm until 10.30 pm. The venue is 5 Vasto Place, Balcatta, WA 6021. Tickets cost $20 and are available from the online event listing.
