Popular music fans in the Balcatta area will most likely to wish to buy tickets for “The Show Must Go On” in August. At the event, tribute acts to some of the biggest names in chart history will be sharing the venue to entertain and delight the audience.
“The Show Must Go On” refers to a mini festival where local tribute acts come together to put on an evening of memorable music from the last few decades in order to get the audience singing and dancing along, with gusto.
The artists and songs which will be covered on the evening include The Police (Don’t Stand So Close to Me), Blondie (Heart of Glass), Queen (Bohemian Rhapsody, Madonna (Holiday), Robbie Williams (Angels) and David Bowie (Life on Mars). Tribute bands Really Roxy Music, Very Dire Straits and Olivers Army will also be joining the set list to enthuse the crowd.
The set usually concludes with a rousing reproduction of Queen’s Live Aid performance in 1985 by a very talented Freddie Mercury tribute singer. Posters advertising special music events such as this are likely to be produced by local printing shops.
