Perth residents gearing up for Osborne Park event

Carrying on a tradition that dates back to 1914, the Osborne Park Show will once again bring a taste of the country to the city over two days in December.

Celebrating its 99th year, the event will be packed with activities, food and fun.

All of the regular features, such as produce stalls, horse shows, log chopping and exhibitions, will be combined with sideshow alleys, show Bags, displays, live performances and top action rides to provide entertainment for all of the family.

Always a crowd pleaser, fireworks displays are set to light up the sky each night and organisers say they will be bigger and better than last year.

The Show, which is run by the Agricultural Society with the help of volunteers, regularly attracts the full support of the local community, businesses and the City of Stirling.

In addition, a WA State Government initiative provides funds to allow children 12 years and under to be admitted for free when accompanied by an adult.

The Osborne Park Agricultural Society secretary has made it clear that the group would like to hear from anyone who wants to participate in or contribute to this year’s show.

Organisers of similar events often utilise poster printing services in order to raise awareness in the area. An eye-catching design can be used to boost attendance figures significantly.

The event will be held on December 6 from 6:00pm and on December 7 from 10:00am until late. More information can be found on the Osborne Park Show’s official website.
