Marketing Campaign to Draw Immigrants to Western Australia

Western Australia has launched a major marketing campaign in the UK and Ireland. This is being done in order to encourage immigrants to move to the area and take one of the 150,000 jobs that the area will need filled within the next five years in order to meet the needs of the booming economy.

Western Australia has always had difficulty attracting migrants to live and work in this area. This is because while Western Australia is very beautiful, it is not as developed as cities such as Sydney and Melbourne. Many people simply do not want to move out into a quiet town out in the middle of the outback.

The majority of people who live in WA are located in the city of Perth. Perth suburbs such as Osborne Park are generally safe and pleasant areas to live in. Also, as this city is not populated as densely as Sydney it has a much lower living cost.

The marketing campaign will be launched online and include television advertising as well as brochure printing. It will have a focus on the whole of Western Australia, not just the Perth region. Those who are young and fit may want to consider working in mining jobs outside of Perth. These jobs are heavily advertised in Print and online as they offer miners the opportunity to live in a mining town and have their accommodation and food paid for. As the pay for these jobs is quite high, miners are able to put away thousands of dollars in savings over the course of a few months. Due to this more and more people are considering getting jobs in Western Australia outside of the Perth region.
