Moves to redevelop the bustling Mirrabooka Town Centre have reached the next stage, with several sites for mixed-use development released for sale.
The centre, which services residents in the City of Stirling, including nearby Balcatta, is progressing well, according to a Council spokesman.
He said property agents Colliers International have been given the task of selling the lots located in Milldale Way, which has become the centre’s new main street.
Milldale Way is both cyclist and pedestrian friendly and is a thoroughfare that links Chesterfield and Sudbuy roads in the busy commercial centre of Mirrabooka.
Collier’s Craig Rowe and Erwin Edlinger, who will oversee the sales, were encouraged by the initial response to marketing strategies, which included brochure printing, with 10 enquiries in the first 48 hours of the campaign.
Rowe said the lots were located in a fast-growing, bustling area of Mirrabooka’s CBD and he was confident the ideally mixed-use development sites would perform well.
Mayor Giovanni Italiano said confidence from private investors in the revitalised town centre was steadily reaching new heights, which was boosting the activity and attractions for shoppers.
The centre has also been earmarked for new Government offices and, according to the Mayor, Mirrabooka’s affordability and location, only 12km from the central business district of Perth, has also helped generate additional interest from investors.
