Those affected by cancer in the Balcatta area will most likely wish to sign up for the WE Relay for Life West Coast Quiz Night as part of a fund-raising initiative.
The annual quiz night is a fun event to be shared with friends and families. It is hosted by Relay For Life West Coast that is a vital cog in the wheel for helping to raise funds for Cancer Council WA.
Relay for Life is the largest cancer fundraising event in the world. In Australia, it was adopted in 1999 and now, many relays are held over the country, with over $14 million raised annually. All the money raised goes to help the tireless work of Cancer Council, funding research and support for cancer patients and their families across the country.
Alongside the annual quiz, there will be a Silent Auction and a big raffle. As an extra challenge, table quizzes and games will also be provided. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own snacks but will be able to buy drinks and soft drinks at the bar.
Local fundraising events services are often advertised as a result of brochure printing within a community.
The WE Relay For Life West Coast Quiz Night is taking place on 31st August, from 6pm until 11pm. The venue is The Vasto Club, 5 Vasto Place, Balcatta WA 6021. Tickets cost from $30. Tickets generally sell out every year.
