Foodie families that enjoy eating together in the Balcatta area may be keen to take a stroll to the Rickman Delawney Reserve in May to take advantage of the delicious street food available to purchase.
Street vendors who may make an appearance include Lahore on Wheels, Peppa Pizza and The Sweet Box Cart. There will probably a maximum of ten vendors present, all selling high-quality, delicious food that appeals to each family member.
The Rickman Delawney Reserve is an ideal venue for a street food gathering as it offers a shady playground and picnic shelters, together with abundant natural areas and public toilets. Energetic family members can burn off those calories by practising their bowling and batting in the cricket nets or by kicking a football about with friends.
Food Hub Central is the initiative behind the street food gatherings, as a means of helping to foster community on the streets and in the open areas of Perth. Such local events are often advertised within the district by the means of flyer printing.
Stirling Street Food – Balcatta, takes place on Wednesdays 3rd, 17th and 31st May, from 5pm until 8.30pm. The event is free and takes place at The Rickman Delawney Reserve. This event is part of the Stirling Street Food Series. Limited seating is available, so it may be wise to bring folding chairs.
