A premier events venue in Perth will soon present two musical evenings dedicated to a revered composer, renowned for his memorable movie soundtracks.
Balcatta residents with a love of cinema and classical music can enjoy two special events taking place in Perth this coming June. The winter concerts are called “Art of the Score” and celebrate the unforgettable music of the legendary composer John Williams at the Riverside Theatre.
A cutting-edge venue, the theatre is sited inside the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) and is designed to showcase orchestral performances, among other largescale events. City theatres often collaborate with Graphic Design Services to create marketing materials that highlight the shows they present.
The evening events will let audiences to hear classic scores from John Williams from films like Superman, Schindler’s list and E.T. and sagas and series like Star Wars, Harry Potter and Indiana Jones, among many others.
Accomplished conductor Nicholas Buc will lead the Western Australia Symphony Orchestra (WASO) on the nights as they play Williams’ music and popular podcasters Andrew Pogson and Dan Golding from Art of the Score will act as hosts.
The Art of the Score events will now be on stage at the Riverside Theatre on Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14. The concert starts at 7.30 pm on both nights and the theatre is at the PCEC on Mounts Bay Road in Perth.
