Residents of West Melbourne, Victoria will be on the doorstep of something really big soon, when the Melbourne Museum opens the doors to a new exhibition.
‘Jurassic World: The Exhibition’ will have its world premiere at the Museum in March and the featured characters are set to be especially lifelike.
This is the closest anyone could come to viewing a real life dinosaur, according to a museum spokesman.
The spokesman said dinosaurs have remained a topic of fascination for millions of people around the world for many years, and the exhibition is expected to draw great interest from all ages.
The exhibition is not only a major event for museum visitors, but also its joint creators the Creature Technology Company in Melbourne (whose wizardry with animatronics was seen in ‘Walking with Dinosaurs: The Arena Spectacular’ and ‘King Kong’) and the Imagine Exhibition Inc.
The two companies have successfully adapted life-sized dinosaurs, including the popular T-rex, that look like the real thing into sophisticated environments, much like those moviegoers saw in last year’s blockbuster ‘Jurassic World’.
Marketing services, Brochures and exhibition Catalogues are already advertising the event, and tickets are being preordered. The spokesman said a lot of work had gone into mounting an exhibition of this scale at the museum.
Jurassic World: The Exhibition opens on March 19 and organisers are confident all visitors will have an experience to remember.
