West Melbourne to welcome Australian rapper

A concert hall in West Melbourne will open its doors to an Australian rap star in mid-autumn.

West Melbourne music lovers can witness home grown hip hop in person this year. New South Wales rapper Scott Froml, better known as “Kerser”, is coming to the suburb to play for one night only as part of an Australian tour to appease fans who are hungry for a live performance.

Aptly titled “The High Demand Tour” the upcoming musical odyssey will see Kerser perform in several suburbs across the nation. Commenting, the 37-year-old said his busy life beyond music made the decision to tour tough but as his career was focused on keeping fans happy, he chose to go ahead.

The rapper’s most recent studio album was “A Gift & a Kers”, released on June 23 in 2023 through Warner Music Australia. It featured a total of 23 tracks which included "I Look Like Money", "Take You Back" and "Mmm So Good".

Kerser is now set to perform live on stage at Festival Hall on Saturday, April18. Doors to the venue open at 7 pm for an 8 pm showtime and the concert hall can be found sited at 300 Dudley Street in West Melbourne.
