A world-famous songwriter and rapper will be performing a live concert in West Melbourne later this year.
Fans of rap and hip-hop in West Melbourne will get a chance to see Ricardo Valdez Valentine Jr in April this year, when the artist performs at Festival Hall. Better known by his professional stage-name 6LACK, the rapper, singer and songwriter has been recording and performing since 2016, and has accrued a considerable following since then.
Raised in Georgia’s Atlanta, 6LACK emerged on the US rap scene with his hit single "PRBLMS", which entered the US Billboard Hot 100. On the strength of the release, he signed to the Interscope Records imprint Love Renaissance, where he recorded his first studio album entitled “Free 6lack”. The recording earned him a Grammy Award nomination in the category of Best Urban Contemporary Album, and a platinum certification from the RIAA.
Organisations and enterprises issuing awards and trophies often look to high-quality printing services to add branding and names of those they are presented to.
Attendees of the upcoming concert in West Melbourne will be able to hear a setlist of tracks from 6LACK that may include songs like his 2021 hit "Calling My Phone".
6LACK will now be on stage at Festival Hall on Tuesday, April 30 and Wednesday, May 1. The venue is based at 300 Dudley Street in West Melbourne.
