West Melbourne will soon welcome a talented singer-songwriter from Indonesia who is currently based in the US.
Music fans from West Melbourne this September will get an opportunity to see talented singer-songwriter and producer NIKI in concert when she performs a single-night show at the city’s Festival Hall.
Born Nicole Zefanya in Jakarta, Indonesia in 1999, the multi-talented NIKI has released two studio albums so far. “Moonchild” was her 2020 debut, which she followed up with “Nicole” in 2022, released through the 88rising record label. By age nine, NIKI was a self-taught guitarist and, when she was just 13, began penning original songs. When the singer-songwriter turned 15, she performed as the opening act supporting Taylor Swift when her Red Tour came to Jakarta. NIKI earned the spot by winning a competition, which was jointly run by Swift and ice cream giant Walls.
2017 saw the artist move to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue her music studies at Lipscomb University. She released the singles "I Like U", "See U Never" and "Vintage", which featured on her first EP.
NIKI can be seen live at the Festival Hall on Saturday, September 23. The venue is sited at 300 Dudley Street in West Melbourne, and the gig will begin at 7pm.Get a Free Quote for Graphic Design Services Get a Free Quote for Print
