Fun and interesting experiences from throughout the city, including West Melbourne, will be highlighted during the state capital’s Summer Marketing Campaign.
Throughout the first half of November, local enterprises were invited to apply to be featured in the promotional programme.
A Melbourne City Council spokesman said the aim was to feature the City’s many attractions, including its unique public spaces, beautiful parks, and the waterfront, as well as its many key summer activities.
The campaign, he said, provided a great opportunity for Melbourne municipality-based attractions, events services, productions, and exclusive offers to gain top exposure throughout the length of its duration, which extends from January 7 to February 29, 2016.
Submissions were received from many areas, including events held during the timeframe, tours and experiences, interesting spaces, hospitality (including special summer Menus), and retail themes such as summer clothing lines, beauty, accessories, and food products.
According to the spokesman, a comprehensive promotional schedule will be implemented during the campaign featuring many of the successful applicants businesses.
He said council would enlist the support of an extensive radio, outdoor, digital and Print advertising campaign such as Flyers, Brochures, and newsletters as part of its summer marketing campaign.
In addition to the Print services, it would also include promotional videos, a ‘What’s On’ blog, ‘What’s On’ website, and social media activities on Twitter and Facebook.
Submissions to be included in the 2016 campaign closed on November 16.Get a Free Quote for Brochures Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Menus Get a Free Quote for Print
