A famous venue based in West Melbourne will soon present an electronic music outfit from the UK.
Admirers of electronica in West Melbourne will rejoice at news that Britain’s Jungle will soon be performing live in the suburb.
For just one night, the London-based artists will be taking to the stage at the city satellite’s Festival Hall to promote their latest studio album.
Entitled “Volcano”, the new release is the fourth recording from Jungle to date, and follows “Loving in Stereo”, “For Ever” and their Mercury Prize short-listed debut “Jungle”.
Recorded last year in 2023, Volcano was released via Caiola Records, the group’s independent label. To accompany this, the band also released a film called “Volcano, The Motion Picture”.

Known for their disco-laden danceable tracks, Jungle will only be playing three dates on their upcoming tour of Australia.
The band was formed back in 2013 in London’s Shepherds Bush by music producers Tom McFarland and Josh Lloyd-Watson, who originally played as an indie act called Born Blonde.
