Shepparton to host national music competition

An event showcasing Australia’s most skilled classical pianists will take place in Shepparton this spring.

Classical music enthusiasts in Shepparton can enjoy an esteemed event called the Australian National Piano Award later this year. The suburb’s Riverlinks Eastbank venue will be holding the multi-date extravaganza in October and welcomes all with a passion for piano to attend.

Organisers of important competitions often work closely with respected Graphic Design Services to produce branded certificates for winners and those recognised for their abilities.

Unlike many other classical musical competitions, no contestant can win the Award through one stand out performance alone. In this respected event, finalists must perform professionally with a variety of different solo recitals sourced from classical masterpieces from composers like Bach, Schubert, Haydn, Beethoven, Delibes and Mozart, among many others.

The Award is internationally recognised for its standard of excellence and was created by its co-founders Darryl Coote and Max Cooke OAM to showcase the technical skills and natural artistry of classical pianists.

The demands expected of the Award finalists are of international calibre. Past recipients of the Award are sensitive and mature artists cultivating and embodying grand traditions and connecting audiences with classical compositions.

The Australian National Piano Award will take place this year at Riverlinks Eastbank from Monday, October 7 to Saturday, October 12. The venue is situated at 70 Welsford Street in Shepparton.
