Stylist to lead workshop in Shepparton

Those interested in fashion in the Shepparton area might wish to attend an upcoming workshop by a fashion expert.

A new regional festival, the Shepparton Fashion Series, is taking place from 3 until 11 October this year, with over 20 events to attend. This will include industry talks, interactive workshops and tours, with some events being free. Top designers attending include Josh Deane, Richard Nylon and Akira Isogawa.

As part of the Shepparton event, Lauren Di Bartolo will be holding a workshop, considering the clothes people buy, the choices they make and how people can adopt a personal sense of style by making more considered choices.

Bartolo is an expert in fashion as well as the founder of the Australian Style Institute, with more than 20 years of experience in the fashion business. She is also qualified in understanding human behaviour and is therefore well-placed to help identify why people make the choices they make, and how these can be made more practical, sustainable and individual.

The organisers of events that require promoting within a community may often rely on poster printing that can be undertaken within the vicinity.

Why We Wear What We Wear with Lauren Di Bartolo is taking place on Saturday, 10 October, from 10 am until midday. The venue is Riverlinks, 70 Welsford Street, Shepparton. Tickets cost $39.
