Jade Hurley has been a musician since his early teens. An exponent of rock and roll and country rock, he sings and plays the piano and banjo and has delighted audiences in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and America.
On stage, he has been likened to Liberace, Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis. He was awarded the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for his services to the entertainment industry, his nurturing of new talent and for his appearances over the years for many charities, including The Australian Cancer Foundation for Medical Research and The National Heart Foundation of Australia.
Johnny Cash once said of Hurley:
“If I wasn’t who I am, I’d find it hard to follow him on any stage anywhere in the world. He’s one hell of a showman and entertainer – and he can sure play that piano.”
Songs on the night are likely to include covers such as Rockin’ All Over The World, Peggy Sue and Great Balls Of Fire.
