Webinar on reducing energy use in apartments

Prahran’s local council, the City of Stonnington, is hosting a webinar on reducing energy use in apartments next month.

The information session is targeted at those who live in apartments and are interested in reducing their energy bills, as well as carbon emissions. Participants will learn about using GreenPower to make the switch to renewable energy, along with solar installation, ways to save energy and the available technology, products and solutions for renewable energy access, such as sharing power and purchasing energy collectively.

The ‘Reducing energy use in apartments’ webinar on is part of an online series of information sessions concerning living in a sustainable manner that is being hosted by the City of Stonnington. The objective of the information sessions is to assist residents in developing skills that are new and decrease their impact on the environment. Such local community events can be effectively promoted via flyer printing, with Flyers posted in community halls, supermarkets, shopping centres and libraries to generate interest.

The online webinar is free and will take place on Wednesday, 14th April from 6.30pm to 8pm. The Zoom platform will be used to present the session, which means that participants will require a computer, tablet or smartphone that has access to the internet. The link to the Zoom meeting will be provided upon booking.
