Fans of the garage music scene in the Prahran area will soon be able to see Prozak (IE), an artist from the UK, perform in his first ever tour Down Under.
As a fan of grime music, Prozak (IE) attended raves where he experienced UK garage first-hand, and was particularly impressed by the award-winning DJ, Conducta.
This sparked his interest in pursuing the genre, and he began creating his own music, with releases on labels such as Hardline Sounds, Shall Not Fade and Kiwi Rekords. His prominence as a garage DJ and producer enabled him to play at prestigious gigs at places such as Printworks and World Headquarters back in the UK.
The Prahran date in the respected nightclub Revolver Upstairs is one of just four in Australia at this time, so no doubt there will be lots of interest in this young Irish artist, who will be setting the dance floor alight in his wake.
Fans may be alerted to the presence of a DJ/Producer like this by the strategic use of flyer printing to produce advertisements in the local area.
Prozak (IE) is appearing at 10pm on Friday 8 December, until 7am on Saturday 9th December at Revolver Upstairs, Level2/229 Chapel Street, Prahran. Tickets cost from $26.52. Support acts include Floss Dogg, Coldpast & Tuff Trax and K. Jones.
