Electronic producer/DJs, known as Gorgon City, will be playing in Prahran for the delight of fans.
The duo consists of London friends Matt ‘RackNRuin’ Robson-Scott, and Kye ‘Foamo’ Gibbon. Although enjoying success individually, it is under the pseudonym Gorgon City where the pair have had the most acclaim. Influenced by a love of garage, hip-hop, grime, house and jungle, they produced the smash hit “Ready For Your Love” in 2014. This hit was sung by British vocalist MNEK and became a popular club anthem and is still well-received today. The latest studio album, Reverie, has pushed boundaries and expectations, whilst remaining true to maintaining position and standing in the electronic dance world.
The boys have also worked with Clean Bandit, The Klaxons, Jesse Glynne and Basement Jaxx. Gorgon City plays regularly in Los Angeles, London and Ibiza. Festivals have included Amnesia, Motion Bristol and Defected Croatia, and, after the Prahran gig, the lads head to Liverpool, UK, before finishing up at the Rise Festival, in France, for the last concert of the year.
