Music event to return to Prahran

January will see the return of Sunset Sounds, a series of free, family-friendly, live music events to the City of Stonnington.

The performances will be held on three Sunday evenings during the month, with each performance beginning with DJs to entertain the incoming crowd from 5pm with support acts starting at 6pm. The headline acts will take to the stage from 7pm. Each concert is scheduled to finish at 8pm.

There will be food trucks at each event and there are water stations in the parks for guests to top up reusable water bottles. Banner printing is often used to highlight amenities at events like this to attendees.

The first concert will be on Sunday 7th January at Victoria Gardens on High Street in Prahran. DJ MzRizk will warm up the crowd followed by Alexander Biggs and headline act Saskwatch.

On Sunday 14th, DJ Elle Young will start things off at Central Park Malvern East, with Jazz Party supporting headliners The Bamboos.

Malvern Gardens, on High St, Malvern will be the venue on Sunday 21st. The DJ will be Emma Peel then 30/70 will take the stage, followed by Hot Potato Band.

Audience members should bring rugs, cushions, sun protection and picnics if desired. Visitors are encouraged to walk, cycle or use public transport as there is limited on-street parking nearby. All venues have accessible toilets and a hearing loop is available at each site.
