A Prahran man has won the lottery and says he owes it all to his cats.
The man won the guaranteed first prize in the Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot Draw No. 1255 on Friday 22nd March. When confirming his win with Tatts officials, the man said he was over the moon about his win.
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, further said that when he received the email notifying him that he had won a prize, he had no idea that the amount would be so significant. Once he realised how much he had won however, he was so excited that he couldn’t think straight.
When questioned about what he would do with his winnings, the man was adamant that he would be buying a forever home for himself and his two cats. In his current accommodation, he has had to hide both his cats from his landlord, so he said it was now time for a home of their own. The man also said he would be looking forward to spoiling his cats in the future.
