Australian Sports Camps will be holding two Kickstart Futsal Camps throughout the month in Prahran.
The camps are aimed at players from 6 to 16 years old and caters for all standards. Coaching will be from 9am to 12pm on each of the three days and will cover all aspects of the game, improving footwork and other skills and so maximising players enjoyment.
Members of the panel of instructors have many years combined experience of playing and coaching Futsal across the world. There will be a structured program for each level and participants will progress each day. Players will receive feedback from the coaches and a signed group photo. Futsal is a version of five-a-side soccer usually played indoors on a hard court. It was developed in Uruguay in the 1930s to improve the agility and speed of thinking of soccer players. It is officially recognised by soccer’s governing body FIFA and is popular with both male and female players as both a social and competitive sport.
The Kickstart Futsal Camps will be held at Orrong Romanis Recreation Centre in Prahran on 15th, 16th and 17th January, with the second camp taking place on 23rd, 24th and 25th January.
