HP printer helps to boost business

HP announced its new range of digital printers would help boost productivity and speed up large format workflow for Print companies, particularly those in the signage industry, at the 19th Shanghai International Advertising & Sign Technology & Equipment Exhibition held last week.

“HP has a deep understanding of the trends and developments in the signage industry and the impact it will have on PSPs. We believe that we can work alongside PSPs to help them transition to be a Marketing Service Provider (MSP) to remain competitive in an increasingly price-sensitive market”, said HP’s Gido van Praag, Vice President, Graphic Solutions Business for Asia Pacific and Japan.

“HP is best positioned to help PSPs in their conversion to MSP where they will move beyond just competing on price to providing a full spectrum of value added services that will help differentiate them from competition."

One of the highlights at the exhibition was the HP Scitex FB7500 which was showcased in China for the first time. Already a hit in Australia, print companies from Prahran to Perth have been reaping the benefits of this high-speed, high-productivity machine.

The HP Scitex FB7500 is designed for high volume industrial printing. It has a versatile UV flatbed printer that suits point-of-sale print jobs, signage, exhibition graphics and poster printing. It is considered one of the highest speed digital flatbed printers in its class offering speeds of up to 500m2/hr with a three-quarter automated loading that significantly reduces idle time by 85%.
