Families in Prahran will soon have their winter holiday plans sorted, as the annual Roola Boola Children’s Art Festival is set to return to the City of Stonnington.
Ranking among Melbourne’s most popular children’s festivals, the Roola Boola event brings performances, interactive activities, workshops and a selection of free events perfect for local children aged 12 and under.
With live shows ranging from classical ballet to science spectaculars, children will find a scheduled performance to excite any interest. The festival will offer four live shows throughout its two-week runtime, featuring ‘Snow White’ from the Victorian State Ballet’s sold-out season. There will also be the All the Queens Men’s dance party ‘Play Date’, the high-energy magic show ‘Fritz’ with Emilie Bloom and ‘Kaboom!’.
Children will be able to participate in a wide range of workshops at venues across the community, exploring various aspects of arts, craft and performance. Workshop activities include cooking, magic, circus, dance, theatre, puppetry, music, sculpture, science experiments, storytelling, writing and illustration.
Local festivals often use poster printing to advertise events around the community. Featuring important information, these Posters may be displayed in venues hosting the festival as well as other business and public spaces.
