Youngsters under the age of 12 in the Prahran area might be keen to sign up for music lessons in July as part of the Roola Boola Children’s Arts Festival.
Roola Boola is an Irish phrase, which translates as ‘boisterous fun’. The Roola Boola festival, which runs from 2nd until 12th July, is held annually in Melbourne, taking place in the mid-year school holidays, and this year runs to over thirty events. As well as workshops, there are performances for children to enjoy. There is a huge amount of variety on offer, including arts and crafts sessions, dance, music, theatre and circus skills.
The Beginner Piano and Violin Workshops are hosted by Hello Music. The classes last 50 minutes and are suitable for those aged four to nine. The lessons are interactive and fun so that children and their parents or carers can enjoy a joyful, immersive experience together. Attendees will be able to take home a workbook, which might well be organised and distributed by a local Print shop.
The Beginner Piano and Violin Workshops are taking place at Hello Music, 75 Greville Street, Prahran. The workshops are taking place from 2nd to 6th July, as part of the Roola Boola Children’s Arts Festival. Piano lessons are at 10am, violin lessons start at 11.15am. Classes cost $33, to include the hire of the instrument.
