Australian multi-instrumentalist to play in Prahran

Prahran will soon be playing host to multi-instrument playing artist Trilla in March, as part of the six-date tour to support her Slipstream single.

Trilla enjoyed plenty of success in 2020. Following winning residency at the Woodford Competition and winning runner up at Bluesfest, however, she felt opportunities come to a halt as the pandemic struck, and therefore retreated out of the public gaze and more mainstream music environments to play smaller, more intimate gigs.

Trilla reportedly enjoyed the more alternative venues, commenting that she felt the strength of her voice lift those around her. As she returned to more conventional music spaces, her background in these more intimate venues helped her give her audience a more shared experience.

Her voice has been compared to the likes of Miley Cyrus, Stevie Nicks and Tash Sultana, and her latest single Slipstream invites the audience to “live their best life”.

One reviewer states:
“This Australian based multi-instrumentalist will give you a felt experience through music like no other. Fans are often left in tears, deeply moved by her voice and transmission.”

Local printing services are often the go to when producing advertising materials for venues within the community.

Trilla’s Slipstream Tour will be appearing at the Centre of You, which can be found at 217 Chapel Street in Prahran on Friday, 21 March, from 6 pm until 9 pm. Tickets cost from $55.
