A popular punk rock band from Canada is coming to Melbourne this summer for a single-night performance.
Punk rock devotees in Essendon looking to party won’t have far to travel this summer. Popular Melbourne venue 170 Russell has declared it will soon present Canadian band The Flatliners for a February show.
Live music venues in the capital and its surrounding suburbs often use banner printing services to create engaging adverts and signage displaying prices to the public.
The Flatliners hail from Richmond Hill in Ontario and are a driving force on the Toronto Ska-Punk music scene. Known for their live shows the band toured almost constantly from 2006 to 2019. In October 2024 they played day three of San Pedro’s “Punk in Drublic Festival”.
While they met as teens and played together since 2002, the band’s line-up has never changed and features Scott Brigham on guitar, Jon Darbey on bass, Chris Cresswell on vocals and guitar, and Paul Ramirez on drums.
Those attending the gig in Epping will get a chance to hear a set-list stacked with tracks which may include hits like “Count Your Bruises” and “Monumental” among others.
The Flatliners will be on stage at 170 Russell on Friday, February 21. The venue can be found at 170 Russell Street in Melbourne and the show is getting started at 7 pm.
