Registrations are now open for one of Moonee Valley’s most popular business events of the year, the Women in Business lunch.
This year the keynote speaker will be Ernst and Young business consultant Nadia Woodhouse, who will discuss how companies can bring cultural, environmental and social values into their business at the same time as improving results.
Nadia works as a sustainability consultant for Ernst and Young and is also part of not-for-profit organisation B-Lab, which aims to encourage businesses to help the environment or deal with a local or national social issue.
ARIA award winner and founder of Big Hearted Business Clare Bowditch will also speak. Her organization helps people mix creativity and business,
More than 300 people attended last year’s event, and this year’s attendance is expected to be similar, so the lunch is a good chance for female business owners from Essendon to meet other entrepreneurs from around Moonee Valley or to give their staff the opportunity to learn from industry leaders.
Booklet printing will likely be used to create a record of all attendees and their contact details so that networking can continue in the coming months.
The lunch will be held on Friday, March 18 at The Atrium in Flemington. Tickets are available for individuals or can be booked for a table of eight, and can be purchased through the Moonee Valley City Council website.
