An acclaimed UK tribute act dedicated to an iconic artist is coming to Melbourne later this year for a single-night show.
Those in Epping who love the music of David Bowie are in for a rare treat this coming July. Revered music venue Max Watts has announced it will be welcoming tribute act Absolute Bowie to its stage direct from the UK on its first ever Australian tour. Promoters organising publicity for touring bands often access expert flyer printing services to create engaging leaflets informing local music fans of upcoming show.
Voted as Britain’s “Best Bowie act” and “Best Tribute Band”, Absolute Bowie offers an authentic experience for fans of the UK music icon. The show has also earned critical acclaim from critics with NME describing it as "A lovingly crafted Bowie show", while the Times newspaper called it “Great Fun”.
Fans attending will be able to hear a wealth of Bowie classics including hits like “Jean Genie”, “Golden Years”, “Ziggy Stardust”, “Life on Mars?”, “Ashes to Ashes” and “Space Oddity”.
To capture the ever-evolving image of Bowie, the show features multiple costume changes and a skilled five-piece band. Absolute Bowie will be live on stage at Max Watts Melbourne on Friday, July 7. The venue is situated at 125 Swanston Street in Melbourne, and the show will kick off at 8pm.
