Plant lovers in the Epping area can enjoy a few days at a social event that is dedicated to the care and enjoyment of cactuses and succulents.
The 2026 Convention of the Australian Cactus and Succulent Societies, hosted by CSSA Inc, is a biennial event that has been running since 1968. It has rotated around mostly Australian societies such as the Ballarat Cactus and Succulent Society Inc and the Cactus and Succulent Society of NSW Inc., as well as the New Zealand Society.
Attendees are likely to come from all over Australia and beyond to join in a convivial social event. There will be workshops, activities, plant sales, bus excursions and talks from experts, including the international speakers Guillermo Rivera from Florida and Pieter Van Wyk from South Africa.
Attendees are also welcome to bring along partners who may wish to enjoy the social aspect of the events and be able to take part in the meals.
