Female entrepreneurs to meet in Whittlesea

Business owners from Epping can learn more about change, and how to deal with it, at the next Women in Business meeting next month.

The session will be led by Lisa Smith from Minds at Work, a company that helps entrepreneurs to

think differently and be creative. Lisa has an MBA and specialises in organisational change.

During the event, she will discuss how to respond to upheaval, particularly if other people cause it. She will also offer some tips as to how company leaders can create their own positive changes and rediscover their love for business.

Female business owners from Epping should think about making an order for business card printing before they attend so they can make the most of any new connections made during the morning.

The event takes place during Spring Carnival so participants are asked to dress up for the morning and will receive a glass of champagne when they arrive. Childcare is also available for those that need it.

The meeting will take place at the Plenty Ranges Arts and Convention Centre in South Morang on Friday November 7th, beginning at 7.45 am. Tickets are $35 and part of the proceeds will be given to Fitted For Work, a not for profit organisation that helps disadvantaged women find work. To book a place register through the City of Whittlesea council website.
