Residents of Epping and surrounding areas are being encouraged to enter themselves in an upcoming annual tennis tournament.
The 2021 edition of ‘Let’s Challenge’ Tennis Tournament, which is set to be held next month, is open to all abilities. Free to attend, all ages are welcome to compete, with a series of doubles, singles and veterans’ matches on the schedule. A selection of grades will be on offer, from A to F, with participants grouped into either the Junior, Senior or Vets categories.
The tournament is being hosted by the City of Whittlesea, and it will be held at Epping Tennis Club, which is located on 861 High Street, Epping. Those that wish to take part must secure their place by September 30, with bookings available online on the City of Whittlesea website.
Councils hosting community tournaments like this often choose to make use of poster printing, displaying the Posters in places like tennis clubs, community centres and bus stops to spread the word and generate interest.
The Let’s Challenge Tennis Tournament will take place from Friday, October 15 to Sunday, October 18. The veterans matches will be held on the Friday, with the doubles matches on the Saturday and the singles matches wrapping up the tournament on the Sunday. Each day, the matches will take place between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
