Keen photographers throughout Epping will soon have an opportunity to learn all the tricks of the trade when it comes to taking professional-looking travel pictures.
Running over five weeks, participants will learn everything from basic lighting setups, working with tripods and shutter speeds, and snapping those all-important action shots in the upcoming workshop series.
Facilitated by Rod Black from Phototourism, Black is an international traveller and photographer with over 40 years of experience under his belt. With a wealth of first-hand knowledge at his disposal, he will be sure to impart a lifetime of accumulated wisdom to budding photographers looking to get more from their hobby. Arts and photography workshops such as this can benefit greatly from flyer printing to help advertise to potential attendees.
The course syllabus has been divided into five core topics, which will each run over two hours on Thursday nights. Commencing with a basic introduction to travel photography, the following weeks will move on to cover long exposure and night photography, portraiture, action photography and equipment essentials. Given the constraints of domestic and international travel, the workshop will also provide useful tips for packing photo equipment and reducing weight.
The travel photography workshop series will commence on Thursday, October 7th and run weekly for five weeks at the Croydon Camera House studio. Participants will need to supply their own camera and lenses, fully charged batteries, Notepads and pens. More information is available from Croydon Camera House.
