Small business owners from Epping who are looking to grow their business and extend their networks can take advantage of a series of free events taking place next month.
On Monday February 4th, anyone looking to start a business or needing advice on finance or marketing can book for a one-on-one mentoring session with advisors and mentors from the Business Enterprise Centre Australia. The sessions, which have been organised by the City of Whittlesea council, will run throughout the day from 9am to 4.30pm.
On Friday February 8th, the focus will be on connecting with other local business owners and promoting businesses and products at a special Coffee and Connect networking session. The event runs from 9am to 10.30am and will be a chance to meet other businesspeople, share ideas and build relationships. Firm owners will want to get business card printing orders up to date before attending in order to share details with new contacts. After the event, a register will be circulated so participants can continue to develop relationships.
On Wednesday February 13th, business owners can learn more about marketing their business. This session, which takes place from 5.30pm to 9pm, will cover launching new products, undertaking market research to discover niche markets and learning about customers to help marketing and improve response.
All the events will be held at the council offices in Ferres Boulevard, South Morang; just a short drive from Epping. The events are all free, but advance booking is required. For more information, visit the City of Whittlesea council website.
