Parents in Epping and the surrounding area are preparing for the Sleep and Settling workshop, which is scheduled to take place in July.
Hosted by the City of Whittlesea and presented by ParentZone in partnership with Jindi Playgroup, this session offers an informal, yet educational space for parents to discuss their child’s sleep, learn positive strategies to help it improve, ask questions and obtain advice.
Parents will explore useful tips and tricks to facilitate safe sleeping and to encourage positive patterns of sleep in their child, and will discover the correlation between sleep associations and their child’s sleep. There will also be a discussion of how a toddler’s world affects their sleep, and how parents can look after themselves in the process.
Organisers of similar workshops can use corporate gifts to thank contributors and participants, and to provide participants with a practical token of attendance that also generates a positive association with a brand or business.
The Sleep and Settling workshop will be held on Tuesday, 29 July at the Jindi Family and Community Centre, 48 Breadalbane Avenue, Mernda, a short drive from Epping. The workshop will begin at 10:00AM and conclude at 11:30AM, and attendance is free. Morning tea will be provided, and children are welcome.
