Entrepreneurial advice drives into Epping

Company owners and those who dream of running their own firm can find advice on their doorstep next month, as the Small Business Bus comes to Epping.

The bus is an initiative of the Victorian Government, and aims to bring help to the owners of smaller commercial ventures in an easily accessible way.

As part of the service, entrepreneurs can book a mentoring session with one of Small Business Victoria’s expert advisors on the bus. These mentors are volunteers with their own experience of running firms as well as experience of corporate management, and have skills in areas such as finance and marketing.

Sessions last for 45 minutes and can be used to cover any number of subjects, including budgeting and setting goals. The sessions are suitable for current business owners looking to expand their company, or for entrepreneurs who have an idea for a business and want advice as to whether their plan is viable.

Brochure printers have also been used to create information for company owners to take away, including advice on ways to grow and develop an enterprise and details of other Small Business Victoria programmes.

The bus will be in Epping on Tuesday, March 3rd and will be parked in the High Street near the Cheesecake Shop. Appointments can be made from 10am to 4pm. Bookings must be made in advance via the Business Victoria website.
