An acclaimed rock band from England has announced it will be appearing in Melbourne as part of a 2023 tour of Australia.
Rock fans from Epping and other Melbourne areas will be able to see and hear the hit band The 1975 when they stop by the city in April for a single-night show. The upcoming appearance will mark the first time in over three years that the UK rockers have graced a Melbourne stage, making the gig a highly anticipated event for many.
The band formed in 2002 in Manchester, but since then have established themselves thanks to an ardent fanbase, a distinctive aesthetic and a sonic approach that is entirely their own. The 1975’s 2020 studio album entitled “Notes On A Conditional Form” received critical acclaim and became the band’s fourth consecutive number one album in Britain.
