A venue near Epping will soon host a dining event based on a UK comedy show.
Fans of British comedy and food from Epping, Mill Park and other parts of Melbourne will not want to miss this unique opportunity to see the characters of hit-show Fawlty Towers come to life. Over a three-course meal, guests can enjoy a two-hour long, fully interactive show featuring the antics of Spanish waiter Manuel, Basil and Sybil.
The longest running and most successful tribute to Fawlty Towers in the world, the immersive show allows diners to play the part of paying guests at the famous Fawlty Towers Hotel. In between courses, audiences can enjoy the comedy, action and chaos as these much-loved characters take centre stage.
The live homage to the venerable BBC series penned by Connie Booth and Sir John Cleese blends audience participation and improvisation with an original script. The Fawlty Towers Dining Experience will be held at Oaks On Market on 60 Market Street in Melbourne’s Central Business District on Thursday, September 9 and Saturday, September 11 between 7pm and 9pm.
